ChatGPTree — Brand Messaging Revamp

ChatGPTree was making big claim: the world’s first climate-positive chatbot. Flying the banner of “AI That Plants Trees” was not hitting the mark. It felt product-led instead of mission-driven and was raising concerns about greenwashing.

The solution required being radically honest and transparent: No, planting a verified tree per user per month was not going to solve climate change or even mitigate all the environmental problems that AI contributes to.

However, with a “smaller” carbon footprint compared to airline travel or energy consumption, planting trees really can make a difference in AI’s carbon emissions. This didn’t mean more individual responsibility, it meant creating a better system that gives individuals an easy and obvious way to “make the switch”.

TKKR — Brand Name

Before you go to market, you better have a name that stands out- and quickly sparks interest in what you have to offer.

Copywriters dream of our “bar napkin moment” — and I got mine in a dimly lit Manhattan bar over beers with my friend launching a brand new company. The concept? A marketplace for trading luxury goods via NFTs, starting with rare watches. Hm- where do watches intersect with a stock market-like environment?
